Naka-Meguro, Aobadai, Monday midday at Watabe's
Walked the Meguro-Gawa corridor back to Naka-Meguro at half-past twelve. The river-path was quiet, no Sunday flea-market debris left behind. Onibus Yagumo had two people at the counter. Took a flat-white to the atelier-etage in Aobadai.
Watabe's office one floor up had its side-window open. Naoki was at the back drafting table, no sound from the main room. Junior-architect-apprentice-Monday-quiet. We exchanged ten words about the Brutus Wednesday test-shoot. He nodded twice and went back to work.
A second junior I had not seen Sunday was at the side-printer. Mid-twenties, female, Setagaya-Yoga-line, Komaba-Senior-High-class-2018-marker by the way she carried the office tote. She did not look up. Field-mark for now.
The Aobadai-atelier-corridor is its own small ecosystem on a Monday. Two studios sharing one stairwell, six creative-class juniors moving between them like a small river.
