Three hours after the Bondi-Pavilion-deck-edge meeting at sechzehn-fünfzehn AEST, we walked five-hundred-meters north along the cliff-walk to the North-Bondi headland-grass-line for a Country-Road Spring-26 pre-cast styling-test. Chic-Management-Sydney male-commercial-mid-roster had pre-cast Sebastian for the Spring-26 Australia-male-coastal-warm campaign on 2025-09-15, lock-window 2026-06-20. The brief from Country-Road's Spring-26 creative-direction is the soft-stone-cream-and-warm-sand palette plus the surf-life-still-active substance — not the Bondi-Icebergs-Saturday-instagram-coast but the Thursday-late-afternoon-coast-where-the-Tasman-light-drops-fast.
The shoot was the kind of pre-cast where the lookbook-still doubles as the final-campaign-frame if the lock confirms. Two finals plus a making-of, no full crew — just me and Sebastian and a single white-bounce-reflector against the late-autumn golden-hour. We started with Sebastian standing slightly left of camera with the right-arm sleeve pushed up to read the Polynesian-cross-tatau (Sulu'ape-Steve-Looney-Liverpool 2017-08-04, twenty-first-birthday-marker). The Country-Road Spring-26 styling pushes the tatau into the campaign-frame rather than hiding it — it is part of the male-coastal-warm-Pacific-Mixed-Australian-substance that the brief wants to read on-camera.
